BREAKS GROUND FOR NEW SIFTON BRANCH
CAMAS, Washington - March 20, 2007- Lacamas Community Credit Union (LCCU) broke ground for the construction of its new Sifton Branch on Wednesday, March 14th at 15705 NE Fourth Plain Boulevard in Vancouver. The approximately 3,700-square-foot facility will open in August 2007, establishing a highly visible Credit Union branch location along the rapidly developing Sifton business corridor.
"We are excited to expand the availability of branch services to our existing members while acquiring new members in the Sifton area," said Kathleen Romane, LCCU President/CEO. "This area is targeted for expansion with more housing and business development planned over the next few years. We welcome the opportunity to serve the Sifton community for their personal and business banking needs."
The Sifton Branch facility was designed by Waterleaf Architecture & Interiors of Portland, Oregon, and is being built by Team Construction of Vancouver, Washington. Garrett Signs of Vancouver was selected to create and install signage.
The Credit Union currently operates five branches in Camas, Washougal and Vancouver, along with its downtown Camas administrative offices. Lacamas Community Credit Union was the first credit union in Clark County, Washington, chartered in 1936. A full-service financial institution, assets exceed $150 million with more than 15,000 members and 68 employees. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Clark or Skamania County.
