AWARDS THREE
$1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS TO AREA STUDENTS
CAMAS,
Washington
– June 13, 2007— Lacamas Community Credit Union (LCCU) has selected three
local high school seniors to receive its $1,000 Joseph J. Boyle Memorial
Scholarships for 2007.
The scholarships were presented by LCCU’s President/CEO Kathleen Romane
during a ceremony at the credit union’s Terrace Branch in Camas on May 31st.
The recipients were:
Kelly S. Gustafson
is a senior at Washougal High School, and the daughter of Sherry Gustafson
of Washougal. She plans to attend the Oregon Institute of Technology and
will study Sonography.
Megan K. Reed
is a home-schooled student, and the daughter of Jeff and Lori Reed of
Vancouver. She is
enrolled at the University of Portland in pursuit of a
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Blaine D. Evans
is a senior at Camas
High School, and the son of George and Kathy Ryland of Camas. He
plans to
study Pre-Medicine at Saint Martin’s University.

an honor to recognize their achievements and support their higher education
goals
through the award of Joseph J. Boyle Memorial Scholarships,”
said Romane.
