Q: How do I get a Lacamas On-line password?
A: Call us at 360-834-3611 or toll free at 1-888-834-3611. Press 9 to speak with a Financial Services Consultant. You may also establish your password by visiting any branch or send an e-mail to
service@lacamas.org.
Q: How much does it cost to use Bill Payer?
A: The Bill Payer portion of Lacamas On-line is FREE for most accounts (Business Accounts may be charged). All other Lacamas On-line benefits are free of charge.
Q: How long will it take for my bill to get paid?
A: In most cases, bills will be paid within 2-5 business days depending on how the vendor accepts transactions. A payment could take up to 10 business days if it was a paper draft issued on Friday afternoon, followed by a holiday. A delay may also occur if you are setting up a vendor for the 1st time and that particular vendor does not already appear in our online database.
Q: Is there any limitation on who payments can be made to?
A: You can make payments to anyone from the Phone Company to the Paperboy.
However, State, Federal & Local goverment agencies are not allowed. This includes property tax payments.
Q: Do I need to install any special home banking software?
A: No. We utilize the software in your browser to make Lacamas On-line extremely user-friendly. You can use Lacamas On-line at work or home-Anywhere you have access to the Internet.
Q: Are there any online help screens if I encounter a problem?
A: Yes. In most cases, you can click on a help button to answer any questions. If you do need further instruction, there is an option within Bill Payer to send an e-mail directly to Lacamas Community Credit Union.
Q: Is it safe to pay bills with Lacamas On-line over the Internet?
A: Yes. Lacamas Community Credit Union is confident in the security measures taken to provide our members with convenient Internet account access via Lacamas On-line. We back our systems and the technologies they utilize 100%. Q: How do I get started?
A: Go to our home page at www.lacamas.org and click on Lacamas On-line. After you login, select the "Pay Bills" icon to start using Bill Payer. We suggest you have a current statement of the vendors you want to pay. You will need to enter the account number, address and phone of the merchants you wish to pay online. You only need to enter this information once.
Q: What are my bill payment options?
A: There are three types of payments and transfers you can make:
Today-For due dates 2-5 business days from today. We guarantee the payment will arrive at the payee within five business days. The payee may not post the payment the day they receive it.
Future-One time, can be scheduled up to one year in advance.
Recurring-Can be scheduled to occur on a regular basis for up to 45 years.
Q: How do I know if the payment or transfer went through?
A: It will be confirmed online and the activity will appear on your Lacamas Community Credit Union statement. As a general rule, members should review activity scheduled and in particular the transactions for the day, before logging out of the session. Always review your account balances.
Q: How are payments sent to vendors?
A: Bill payments issued through Lacamas On-line Bill Payer are sent electronically (ACH) or by paper draft. If the vendors are smaller and not capable of accepting ACH transactions, or the recipients are individuals, an actual paper check will be issued by a third party vendor acting on behalf of Lacamas Community Credit Union.
Q: When will Lacamas Community Credit Union deduct money from my checking account?
A: Lacamas will debit your checking account each business day at 6 a.m. Our business days are Monday through Friday, not including Holidays.
Additional Information:
1. Depending on the manner in which a payee accepts payments, it can take several days to initially set up payment processing.
2. Members should double-check the address of payees, along with the account number(s) before entering this information online.
3. As a general rule, when paying bills enter a payment date at least 2 to 5 business days in advance to ensure prompt payment.
