Lacamas Community Credit Union is proud to support our community and students' education. Each year, we invite local graduating high school seniors to enter the Lacamas Community Credit Union College Scholarship Program (in memory of Joseph J. Boyle) to encourage local high school students to further their education. We award three $1,000 student scholarships to qualified high school seniors annually.
Applicants are judged based on exceptional scholastic achievement, community involvement, qualities of character and leadership, essay responses and financial need.
Scholarship application packets will be available at all Lacamas
Community Credit Union branches, at Camas, Washougal, Vancouver, and
Stevenson area high schools, and on
www.lacamas.org after Feb. 1, 2010.
Applications will be available on February 1, 2010 and finished applications
are due by March 31, 2010.
Eligibility criteria include:
- Current membership in Lacamas Community Credit Union
- Maintain a 3.0 or better overall GPA
- Be a graduating high school senior
