We've made it easy to switch your checking account to Lacamas Community Credit Union. Our convenient Switch Kit is designed to help close your checking account and change your Direct Deposit and automatic withdrawals with ease.
Switch your automatic transactions to your new LCCU Checking Account. Our convenient Switch Kit contains forms to help you contact the companies and financial institutions that handle your automatic deposit and withdrawals.
To switch your Direct Deposit to LCCU, simply complete the Payroll Direct Deposit Change form and return it to your employer's payroll department. If you receive Social Security payments, please contact the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 and inform them that you want your Direct Deposit to go to LCCU. You may need to provide them with your LCCU account number and LCCU routing number:

To switch your automatic withdrawals to LCCU, complete the Automatic Withdrawal Change form. This form is used to contact any organization that you have authorized to make automatic withdrawals from your account as well as inform them that you have switched your checking account to LCCU. Be sure to enclose a voided check.
To switch payments automatically billed to your old debit card, just contact the company that you've authorized to receive payment through your old debit card and inform them to debit your new LCCU debit card instead. They will need your new card number and expiration date.
Be sure to allow outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals to clear in your old account. Leave enough funds to cover your outstanding checks as this process may take several weeks.
Close your old account.
To close your old account, complete the Please Close My Account form and give it to your previous financial institution. Request a check for the remaining balance from that account. Be sure that all of your transactions have cleared before closing your old account.
Destroy your old checks, ATM/debit cards and deposit slips from your old financial institution.
