1. Open your new LCCU Checking Account.
To open a new checking account simply call (360) 834-3611 or visit any LCCU branch to open your new LCCU checking account.

2. Switch your automatic transactions to your new LCCU Checking Account.

Change your Direct Deposit to LCCU
Simply complete the Payroll Direct Deposit Change form and return it to your employer's payroll department.

To change Social Security payments, please contact the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 and inform them that you want your Direct Deposit to go to LCCU. You may need to provide them with your LCCU account number and LCCU routing number.

Switch your automatic withdrawals to LCCU
Complete the Automatic Withdrawal Change form to contact any organization that you have authorized to make automatic withdrawals from your account and let them know that you have switched to LCCU.

Switch payments automatically billed to your old debit card
Simply contact the company that you've authorized to receive payment through your old debit card and inform them to debit your new LCCU debit card instead. They will need your new card number and expiration date.

Be sure to allow outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals to clear in your old account
Leave enough funds to cover your outstanding checks as this process may take several weeks.

3. Close your old account.

To close your old account, complete the Please Close My Account form and give it to your previous financial institution. Request a check for the remaining balance from that account. Be sure that all of your transactions have cleared before closing your old account.

Destroy your old checks, ATM/debit cards and deposit slips from your old financial institution.
